Get started training with EMTP® - Lausanne

Objectives

The objective of this course is to give to beginner and intermediate participants a good hands-on experience on the simulation and analysis of power systems transients in general and, also, power system dynamics. The course is based on the usage of EMTP® for demonstrating concepts and teaching through practical problem cases related to both transmission and distribution networks. EMTP® contributes greatly to the simplification of complex power system studies and to the visualization and accurate simulation of large systems.

Training structure

The duration of the training is 4 days.
The course starts at 9.00 a.m and ends at 5.00 p.m every day with two coffee breaks per session.

Computer and temporary EMTP® license

Each participant will have to bring a personal computer. EMTP® temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.
