Training structure 

The duration of the course is 1 days.
The course starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. every day.
The course is presented in English.

 

Computer and temporary EMTP license

Each participant will have to bring a personal computer. EMTP temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.

 

Program

• Control of a grid-connected VSC-based DG

• Synchronization using enhanced three-phase PLL

• Islanding detection based negative-sequence current injection

• Control strategies for DG units in the islanded mode

• Control strategies of microgrid with more than one DGs under unbalanced conditions

• Centralized disturbance detections using PMUs

General conditions

Please register as early as possible if you plan to attend the EMTP course. As soon as the minimum of participants is reached, POWERSYS will confirm the course.
The registration to the course includes the lunch and coffee breaks.
