Power Systems Transients and Insulation Coordination course - London

Course objectives

The objective of this training is to give to beginner participants a good first hands-on experience on EMTP and an overview of the EMTP capabilities.
The training is based on the usage of EMTP for demonstrating concepts and teaching through practical problem cases.

  •  Manage the GUI

  •  Choose the configuration (models, equipments) suited to the type of simulation to run

  •  Identify and solve simulation failures

  •  Analyze simulation results


Course structure 

The duration of the training is 4 days.
The training starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. every day.


Computer and temporary EMTP license:

Each participant will have to bring a personal computer. EMTP temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.

General conditions

Please register as early as possible if you plan to attend the EMTP training. As soon as the minimum of participants is reached, POWERSYS will confirm the training.
The registration to the training includes the lunch and coffee breaks.
Participants will have to pay 100% in advance before the training. Payment will be made by bank transfer or credit card. A 3% fee is applied for credit card payments.

Cancellation can be made according to POWERSYS’ General Conditions for trainings:

Withdrawal from the training:
In case you cannot attend the training after having registered, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@emtp-software.com
In case of cancellation three weeks OR MORE before the beginning of the training, the participants will not be charged.
In case of cancellation less than three weeks before the beginning of the training, POWERSYS will charge the participant 50% of the training fees.

Please note that POWERSYS will not reimburse any travel and/or accommodation expenditure in case of cancellation of the training. We recommend you to make your travel arrangements once the training is confirmed.
