You have a bachelor’s degree in computer programming or software engineering
Electrical engineers with advanced programming skills will be considered
You have at least 4 years of experience in software development
You are fluent in C++, C#, JavaScript, Python and Java. Advanced knowledge on parallel computing would be an important asset. Knowledge on electrical systems would be an important asset.
You have strong interpersonal relation skills
You are fluent in English and French

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC

Prepare proposals for projects for various clients in the field of power systems.
Perform simulations with EMTP on power system transients for various clients.
Build vendor convertor models as DLL
Study and comment reports prepared by other employees.
Prepare presentations for clients on given technical topics related to power system transients.
Develop models in the EMTP GUI environment. The model development may involve some coding using scripts and DLLs

You are a power system engineer
You have strong interpersonal and client relation skills
You have at least 3 years of experience in electrical network studies (transmission and distribution, power electronics)
You are familiar with electromagnetic transients
You have strong technical and organizational skills
You are fluent in English
