Overview
This training will be held in English.
This course is designed to help participants master advanced capabilities in EMTP® and leverage them for greater efficiency and customization. By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
Improve proficiency with EMTP®
Script and automate the graphical user interface
Create customized toolboxes
Integrate DLLs to extend EMTP's functionality
Prior experience with EMTP is strongly recommended. The course includes hands-on exercises and guided examples to build both theoretical understanding and practical skills for advanced workflows.
Computer and temporary EMTP® licenses
Every participant is required to bring their own personal computer. Temporary EMTP® licenses will be provided to participants for the course's duration.

This training is ideal for T&D electrical engineers, consultants, industry professionals, researchers, and post-graduate students involved in power system studies.

- Parametric study
Day 2: 29th of April, 2026
Scripting with EMTP® (JavaScript, Python)
- Modify a circuit
- Start a simulation
- Post process results
Day 3: 30th of April, 2026
- Control DLL integration using CIGRE/IEEE standard DLL interface
